Creativity has always been in my DNA! As a child, I made outfits from leftover curtains, bedsheets and lace. I even gave my sister’s Barbie dolls bold bob cuts because mine were too precious to mess with!Tell us a little about your hairdressing journey.
Hairdressing is my absolute calling. I’ve spent 24 years in the industry, with 12 in beautiful France and 12 here in Australia. In France, I trained twice to try for a spot at the “Hairdressing Olympics”. That experience sparked my love of precision and detail. What’s your favourite look to create?

Spending time with my daughter and our little dog, creating magic in the kitchen or exploring outdoors. I also love the energy of kizomba, bachata and salsa. You’ll often find me on the dance floor! What’s your favourite holiday destination, or somewhere you dream of visiting?
Anywhere I don’t have to cook a single meal or wash a dish! As a busy single mum, that kind of pampering is my idea of paradise. What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
I started performing with a marching band routine team at just five. My whole family performed together for 11 years using pom-poms, flags and prop rifles. It was amazing!Which song gets you singing along in the salon?
Anything with a good beat! When the music gets me singing and dancing, I’m in my absolute happy zone.

What first got you into hairdressing?
My dream was to work in film and TV makeup. A makeup artist my dad knew recommended learning hairdressing first, and I already loved doing people’s hair! That advice started a career spanning 43 years, combining salon work with film and TV.
Tell us a little about your hairdressing journey.
I trained in South East London before travelling across America doing hair shows and teaching British techniques in Washington, DC, aged 20. My career has taken me to salons in West London, LA and Germany, alongside hair, wig and makeup work on productions including the first Harry Potter film, Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, Cats and Buddy Holly.

Supporting women through a group I’ve set up and helping women experiencing hair loss with wigs. I also love walks, summer beach days and escaping to the movies to switch off.
What’s your favourite holiday destination?
The Maldives. Beautiful ocean, peace and quiet, and time to completely relax. Sea and sand are heaven to me!

What first got you into hairdressing?
A lot of my family are hairdressers, so I grew up around it! When I was younger, I’d sweep the floors at my cousin’s salon and chat with everyone. Seeing how much fun she had inspired me to give it a go.Tell us a little about your hairdressing journey.

What first got you into hairdressing?
My mum’s hairdresser inspired me, and I was always experimenting with hair as a kid. That included cutting my own hair badly and doing hair for the cheerleading squad!
Tell us a little about your hairdressing journey.
I started a hairdressing course in Year 10, aged 16, and fell in love with the creative side, especially colour. I began my apprenticeship at 19, and after nine years in hairdressing, I’m still learning something new every day.
What’s your favourite look to create?
Definitely vivids! The brighter and wilder the colour, the better. I’m your girl for a big transformation, and I love seeing how happy it makes my clients.
What can someone expect from an appointment with you?
I take my lead from you. I love a good chat about anything and everything, but if you’d prefer some quiet time to unwind, that’s absolutely fine too.
When you’re not in the salon, where would we find you?
Curled up with a good book or out with friends for lunch and shopping. I do love a good Sephora haul!
What’s your dream holiday destination?
Japan for the cherry blossoms and food! I’d also love to explore the UK and Europe. It’s a part of the world I’ve always wanted to see.
What could you happily talk about for hours?
Books, footy and music! I’m a bookworm, a Dockers supporter and equally happy talking metal or pop, especially concerts and festivals.
What’s your most memorable hairstyle you’ve created?
For my first photoshoot as a second-year apprentice, I created a look inspired by Vikings and Game of Thrones. It was a very proud moment!
